Day 1
Airport transfer to Tbilisi Hotel
Day 2:
Leaving Hotel to see the Sataplia natural reserve that is famous with reserves footprints of dinosaurs. We will also visit Gelati and Mostameta monastery complex and Bagrati Cathedral. In the evening walking within the historical part of Kutaisi and have dinner in local restaurant and have master class with making Georgian traditional dishes. Overnight in Kutaisi.
Day 3
Leaving hotel for Okatse canyon. The artificial path is made on the rocky canyon at the height of 100 m. While walking the path you see the amazing views down the valley of the river Okatse. Upon the group’s decision, you can visit fascinating waterfall Gordi that is in a 5 km walk from the Okatse Canyon. We will also visit a fascinating place – Prometheus cave and after that the beautiful canyon located in the Martvili region. Dinner we will have in a local restaurant with Georgian traditional dishes and Georgian wine. Back to Kutaisi.
Day 4
Leave hotel for Bordjomi. Walking in Borjomi park and tasting Borjomi mineral water that have very special healing effects. Leaving Borjomi for Akhaltsikhe, where we visit fortress complex Rabat. In the historical part of the complex, there are fortress with its citadel, baths, museums and noblemen palace built in different centuries starting from 9th century. In the complex there is also a jail where people were imprisoned for some period before they were sent to Ottoman empire for selling as slaves. Then we will visit the 10th century monastery complex “Sapara”. The name of the place derives from Georgian word “Epareba” (in English means – Hides), as even though the monastery is built on the top of the mountain it is impossible to see it from any point until you walk to the gate of the monastery. Overnight in Akhaltsikhe in a hotel.
Day 5
Leaving hotel for vardzia. On the way to vardiza we will visit fortress Khertvisi and rock- hewn town Vardzia. After go to Gori, where we will visit Stalin Museum and other sightseeing places of the city. Also, we will visit rock-hewn antique city “Uplistsikhe” located near Gori. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 6
Depending on the schedule, Tbilisi tour can be planned, that includes visiting fascinating sightseeing places of the old Tbilisi, various museums and others. Transfer To airport.
